Marion Smith - Nirvana

I've recently discovered this fabulous range from Marion Smith Designs. This collection is called Nirvana and has some fantastic images that are brilliant for male orientated cards or scrapbook pages. I've added some die cut cork and kraftcard, and a little ink around the edges, everything else is cut out from the 12"x12" cardstock.
These are just a few of the samples I've been making for the craft shop at Burleydam Garden Centre, including cards, scrapbook pages and at the moment I'm working on a memory book.

Happy Crafting

A Little Inspiration at the Craft Stamper Blog

The Take It Make It challenge over at the Craft Stamper Blog is white stamping this month. you can use white ink, gesso, paint, heat emboss whatever you choose as long as the stamping is white.
We have a fabulous prize on offer from Rubber Dance Stamps of £20 worth of goodies, and as always the chosen winner will have their creation in print in the magazine, so please keep your entries safe!!

I stamped out my Stampendous Peony in white gesso onto kraftcard and then coloured the petals in using Lyra Polycolour pencils, love how they blend.
The sentiment was also stamped out in gesso and added on foam pads.

IndigoBlu Samples

Another sample made for IndigoBlu using the fabulous Ledger stamp and some words from the equally fab Sarah's Choice stamp plate. I spritzed Goldfinger, Cinderella and Snow White onto card stock, then cut out the tags, love doing this technique.
Then to finish off added a few of the multi coloured gems from Papermania.. It's a horrible day in North Wales, lots of hailstone, sleet and it's freezing cold, so perfect day to catch up with some crafting ;)

Let It Snow the IndigoBlu way!

There's still plenty of time to enter the challenge over at the IndigoBlu Challenge Blog, where we are "Letting It Snow".
I bought these two chaps from Kay at Port Sunlight a couple of years ago, and they have been in hiding ever since!!
I painted them with a couple of layers of white Gesso, and then added the Snowflake Lace via the tissue technique with Slap It On medium.
The Merry Christmas Dinkie has been added onto a Tim Holtz snowflake die, and bakers twine and bells finish off the decoration.
So get entering, you could scoop up a fab prize!!!

Craft Stampers Take It Make It Challenge December - White Stamping

This morning see's the start of the December challenge over at the Craft Stamper Blog We want to see white stamping on your projects.
I love this Tim Holtz stamp, it's been in hiding for a couple of years, but re-appeared earlier this week! Must be the Christmas Elves...........
I used picked raspberry, shabby shutters and peacock feathers distress inks to create my background.
Then over stamped with the paisley stamp again, only this time heat embossing with white powder. I added a little more colour with a waterbrush using the ink from my mat, and finished off with some IndigoBlu words and some bling, well it is December how could I not have some bling!!!!!!
We have a fabulous sponsor this month Rubber Dance Art Stamps
And our chosen winner will also have their entry published in the Craft Stamper magazine, so please keep it safe!
So get creating, use stamps and leave us a direct link back to your project.
Good Luck, Elizabeth x

Dragons Dream TIO - Holly and the letter "M"

This time over at the Dragons Dream TIO Blog Jax has chosen the theme of the letter "M" and Holly, and of course as always at least one real stamp on your tags.
I've used the Music Score stamp from IndigoBlu along with their Merry Christmas Dinky stamp, which is great as it fits perfectly in a circle die, therefore no cutting out!
The Holly is a Marianne Die which is permanently on my desk at the moment, with just a few red gems added for the berries.
Pop over to the blog via my link and check out what my teamies have created and why not join in!!
